This is my daughter Meadow and her best friend Lydia. The greatest thing is that Lydia's mother and I are best friends and have been our entire lives. My mom and her dad went to prom together! We had the same sitters growing up. Nothing has ever seperated us. It is so much fun watching Meadow and Lydia bonding and growing together. It is my prayer that they will be as close as Lydia's mother and I are. It is a great thing to have a very best friend. Someone that you know that knows your deepest secrets, has seen your best and your worst, and that nothing not time nor circumstance can seperate. Soul mates!

I have a friend like this also. She and I have been friends since we were five years old, her mom and my aunt were best friends in high school, and our grandfathers were also friends.
Friendship like that is truly a gift from God!
