A Clinique Day

I felt better today than I have in a very long time. I felt good! Praise the Lord I felt GOOD! I'm so glad. I can't believe how incredibly great it feels to feel good! I had to take Sky to the orthodontist today and after that visit we headed to the mall. I was needing cleanser and make-up so I went in and had a facial and purchased some goodies for me. The last time I done this was two years ago! My consultant Lois was still there and still had my file. I have to say I was impressed. I spent a bundle but hey I'm worth it! Right?! Tee hee That is was my hubby keeps telling me anyway!

Do the rest of you moms struggle as hard as I did spending money on yourselves and not the kiddos? Man I can't believe how hard that is! Sky even told me..she said, "Mom it makes us so happy to see you get something for yourself because you are always buying for us." Awww......how sweet she is.

So here is a picture of my goodies.

Last night was youth night at our church and my girls are in drama. I have some great pictures coming up with more details later this week. God Bless you all!

very cool..you go, mom! I go skimpy on stuff for me, too. I was just thinking of getting some clinique, I stopped buying it when I got married, kind of evolved into cheaper and cheaper drug-store stuff..but I was just thinking I would like to go get some nicer face lotion and stuff.

thanks for inspiring me, I think I will go out and get some.

Glad you got some nice things for you, Jenileigh. Yes, I think most mom's have trouble spending on themselves. I know I did and I still rather buy for my kids or grandkids than myself.

How fun! No, I use to have a problem spending on myself...but then I realized GOD is my provider, not dh, and I'm HIS child and HE wants me to be blessed!!! Dh was always telling me to spend...LOL...
If you're kids and hd have what they need then why shouldn't you too? I consider it sort of an allowance for myself to get something special.

Thanks for the comments on my blog. I miss you!

Blessings!

Clinique is my favorite make-up and skin care products. My mom introduced it to me when I was 16 and I really haven't ever veered away from it since.

You are worth it!

Oh, yes. I understand the dilemma of spending money on yourself. I think it comes with giving birth.

I hope you enjoy your new goods!!!

Come on over - I have something for you.

I love clinique! You got some great things. I go through phases about spending money, right now I'm in a phase where I don't mind so much :)...
Good for you Jenileigh!
